To Kill a Mockingbird is a fantastic movie that is based on the book, To Kill a Mockingbird that captures all the ideas of poverty, injustice, and racism. The movie is set in a small Alabama town during the 1930’s with the main characters, Scout, Atticus, and Jem Finch. It all starts when Atticus Finch defends a black man gets accused of raping a white girl on a trial. The story twists and turns through the lives of the children; what they are thinking and doing, but also the trial. Drama and questions are raised evenly throughout the movie that keeps the watcher on the edge of their seats. To Kill a Mockingbird is a movie that no one wants to miss and keeps people thinking no matter what the age. If you want an enjoyable movie that you can just sit and watch to waste time but not ponder on what is really happening, this is not your movie.
