The Conjuring is a true story. Its a story about paranormal activity, with ghosts and demons. So some people might not like scary movies, or movies about haunted things, so some people might not want to watch it. But it is a good movie, with many exciting things in it. There’s some people that do like to watch movies, some people might even study ghosts, demons, and paranormal activity for a living. Like Ed and Lorraine Warren, Ed and Lorraine Warren are demonologists. They study demons, ghosts, and supernatural things. They help people that are haunted by ghosts. The three main things about the movie is the characters, beginning of the movie, Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the writers and directors of the movie.

The Conjuring is a great movie for anyone who likes to be scared, or for anyone who likes to jump out of their seat. The Conjuring is a terrifying, yet exciting movie. The Conjuring takes place in 1971 in Rhode Island. Where Roger and Carolyn Perron move into a beautiful old 18th century farmhouse, not knowing that it is haunted with a mysteriously terrifying past. They move in with their five daughters Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy, and April, and their dog Sadie. When the Perrons first move in, or in the beginning of the movie, it starts out with sort of a mystery, but in the second scene it starts out as any other movie would. A happy family with a dog, moving into a new house. Everything was going fine, until the family starts to suspect some extremely peculiar things. One night something goes horribly wrong that none of the Perrons could understand, or explain. So Carolyn goes to Ed and Lorraine Warren for help.

Ed and Lorraine Warren are two demonologists. They are married and have one daughter named Judy. Ed and Lorraine were frightened and surprised at what was happening at the Perron house. As soon as Lorraine Warren had walked in the farmhouse, she immediately knew that their was something wrong with the house. Ed Warren died in 2006, Lorraine Warren is currently still alive. Larraine quotes “ The things that went on there were just so incredibly frightening.” Which basically explains the whole movie. The Warrens were also very good at investigating what happened in the past of the house. The writers of the movie did a very good job on writing the movie.

The writers of the conjuring, Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes, did a really good job on writing the script for the movie. Even though they left out some important things from what actually happened in the actual story. But they also added many things to the movie. Which leads to a very terrifying, but surprising ending. The director James Wan did a very good job at filming the movie too. Even though some of the scenes had fake things in it, it still looked very real. James Wan directed many scary, horror movies like the Conjuring such as; Saw, Insidious: Chapter 2, and Dead Silence.

The Conjuring is based on a true story. One of the scariest supernatural stories. If anyone wants a good scare, they should watch The Conjuring. A nice family moves into a beautiful 18th century farmhouse. Thinking everything will be fine, that all their lives will go as planned. Not knowing that they would be haunted by a terrifying ghost with a horrifying past. Andrea Perron, who is the oldest daughter wrote a book on her actual experience with the movie. The Conjuring is a horrifying and terrifying movie, if anyone wants a good scare. They should watch the Conjuring.
