[Spoiler alert; if you haven't read the book don't read]

This movie would be something that I could only describe as inconsistent. It's one of those movies for people who don't read the book. Some major parts are left out, or misplaced, such as when Jeanine creates the working serum and injects Four-- which was moved. In the movie, Jeanine is controlling the simulation, which was not in the book, and this giant change to the plot creates more events that never happened. A smaller misplacement: Tris' mother never rescues her from the glass case that fills with water-- it's not in the movie at all. Instead, it is replaced with Tris being brought outside in handcuffs and the guards trying to kill her, when her mother steps in. Also, Will's death happens when Tris and her mother are shooting people together. Inaccurate.

Overall, it was a poor attempt at accuracy.
