The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight is the greatest Batman movie of all time, and one of Christopher Nolan's finest. Christian Bale, as Batman, battles one of his most famous superheroes, the Joker. The Joker is an exciting villian to watch and Heath Ledger deservedly won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. The second movie in the trilogy, this Batman movie surpasses the first and the third, and might be the greatest superhero movie to date.
Christopher Nolan revolutionizes the way Batman is looked out with his new darker approach to the well-known superhero. In this movie, Batman must face the twisted Joker, which is an increasingly difficult task. The Joker wants the world to suffer, and an aging Batman must find all of his strength to save his city of Gotham from the laughing clown.
