The Cabin in the Woods
The Cabin in the Woods is an excellent horror movie that has the ability to both be terrifying and hilarious. When a group of friends decide to go to one of their uncle's cabin in the middle of nowhere, they all think it is a good idea to go, so they do. But once they arrive, they realize that something suspicious is going on, and that there was a reason why not that many people visited.
This movie has some gruesome scenes, but at the same time, the movie is laugh-out-funny. The ending gets a little dumb, but the actual very end is pretty good. The movie has it's own vibe, which is very unique and special. It's very rare for a dark, twisted thriller to have comedy, but this movie does not just have comedy, but succeeds with it. This movie absolutely suprasses any and all expectations as one of the best recent horror movies to come out.
