National Treasure
National Treasure is a movie about a Historian named Ben Gates who wants to find a hidden treasure that is beyond believable. He has been searching his entire life for this treasure, but the treasure might just be a rumor. Ben goes with a friend named Ian to a wrecked ship that contains a clue. But Ian soon betrays him and threatens to steal the Declaration of Independence, and it soons become a race between Ben, and his team, to get to the document and find the treasure.
This movie is perfect for history lovers and great for showing in a Social Studies or History class. The movie is exciting, suspenseful, and actually appealing for young teens and teenagers. There are not that many good history movies out there, that actually involve historical information, but this movie does just that.
