NBA 2k23 Review

               NBA 2k23 came out in September of 2022. I have recently play it and I have had lots of fun. 2k23 has lots of different modes you can play. There is Playnow, Ultimate Team, My career and My league. Playnow is where you can play with any past or current teams and players against a CPU or just your friends. Myleague is where you can do rebuild, create a specific roster you want or just play seasons with your favorite team. Then there is Ultimate team where you create your dream team. This is a fun mode, but you must buy cards and packs if you want to be good at it. Then there is my personal favorite Mycareer. This is where you can create your own player and upgrade then and make then look cool. Really the only down fall of this is that you either have to buy the VC with real money to upgrade your player or you must grind it for quit a long to time to upgrade your player. Within My career there is the Park. This is where you play online matches with random people or your friends. There is 2v2 or 3v3, 5v5 etc. The park gameplay is hard but once you get good at it, it is super fun, especially with your friends.

               In Mycareer 2k come ups with some cool timelines and back stories for your character. It all starts in the 2023 summer league; you get drafted round 1; pick 17. Your rival Shep Owens gets picked round 1; pick 18. Shep does not like that you got picked over him. Shep is trash talking right before you play him in the summer league championship. After that you start your first NBA season. Throughout the season there are cut scenes and you can get endorsements from different brands. In Features there are lots of different things you can edit and customize, including, the shoe creator where you can edit and brand of shoe or create your own shoe from scratch, create a player where you create yourself or your friends, who ever you want to create,

then you can 2k beats where you can change the music and decide what you want to be on your playlist. And then just the regular settings and controls. Overall, I think 2k23 is a really fun game. I have really enjoyed playing it and I would recommend it to anyone that like sports games.
