A Normal Florida Vacation

Last night I dreamt that I was walking in the existential heat of the desert. But as I picked my head up I was on the beach in Anna Maria Island in Florida. A dark purple. towel draped over a chair. Thirsty as I’ve ever been my Grandma arrived, “Hi Mason.” She gave me my Mcdonald’s sprite with my food. Family sitting in the lawn chairs watched as two young kids would start to fight. “Hey You!” Their mother yelled her eyes a dark deepening red like the skin of a dragon.
