Alone
The comfort of being held by your hand by your father, when crossing the street, is over. The comfort of running in your parents room, next to your mothers side, when you’re scared at night.. is over. The trust of telling your friends long hid secrets, is gone. Day by day, you become more and more alone. Walk the streets by yourself. When you’re scared at night, suck it up, and hide under the covers. When you’ve got a secret, bite your tongue, and keep it hidden. Is this what growing up is about? After all, in the end, a coffin does only seat one.
