Divulgence Of Murder MAG

I know I must confess to such a crime,

The burning guilt is overwhelming me.

The sleepless nights are driving me insane.

I want to be forgiven for killing you.

Oh, Vic, why did I do a thing like this?

A crazy freak of chance, I didn't mean it.

I need forgiveness now. I fear my mind

Is leaving me. Please answer my request,

By clearing me from guilt, and rescue me.

We were the best of friends, from then till now.

Until my dreadful error, we were pals.

We practiced music, played side by side,

And people labeled us the perfect pair.

I thought you'd last forever, I was wrong.

I fractured you, it was a horrid sight.

I did replace you quickly with one more, but

My soul still yearns for drumsticks that are choice.

Well, hold it now, my new sticks are real good,

And talking over your remains must be

Quite strange for those who have no knowledge of this.

For after all you were only a stick.

A stick replaced by average drummers once

A year. My shame is ever-growing, but

I must put you to everlasting rest.

"The worst is death, and death will have his day."1

I don't think so. The author put this in the fiction section for a reason.
