I spread my arms wide and spin around. The cool droplets wash over me, renewing me. I laugh as I spin, my arms wide, and let the spring rain douse me in a cool veil of happiness. It’s like rain to the desert, as I dance in it, not caring who sees me. I dance, leap and laugh like a complete idiot, but I don’t care because it is raining. My heart swells with each drop that slides across my tanned skin until it feels like it will burst. I tilt my face to the ominous black clouds and laugh deeply. It is a pure laugh that starts from my stomach and travels to the heavens. Sighing I fall back into the grass and lay there, the rain soaking me to the bone. The lovely rain that douses me in a veil of happiness.
