Mind controlling flu shot
“Bella, we are going to be late for you doctors appointment, hurry”.
Bell is upstairs in her bedroom; she is looking in the mirror finishing up her make up. She takes a deep breath and looks at her self one more time, pausing at herself, thinking this is the last time I will be me. She turns away from her image then walks down stairs. Today is Bella 18 birthday. She is not excited to turn 18 like everyone use to be just a short amount of time ago. The government requires this flu shot for when you become an adult. They have tricked people into thinking it was to protect the immune system from this horrible disease going around but really people caught on to there trick. They have created this flu shot so they have total control over the population and no one can be disobedient to there commands. Bella is nervous, she doesn’t know what they will make her do but her fears is what she is trying to over come, and all she knows is she doesn’t want the shot and wants to run away from this place, but where is there to go? They control everything, there is no running.
Bella and her mom get in the car that is parked in their driveway. Bella is not saying much. Her mother, Rose, can tell how nervous she is. “Bella, just don’t think about it honey, everything will be alright”. Bella just stares out the window of the car and doesn’t say anything. While they are driving they pass a car that has been pulled over, they see the cop with his helmet on (which makes him able to control) making this guy put his hands behind his back without saying anything. She just looks away. It’s like everything is “normal” in the world of the government controlling everyone. Everyday that passes is another day people think its okay that we do this to our selves. Bella doesn’t think this is right. She wants to some how escape the decision she does not have. She needs to come up with something quick. They are all ready pulling into the doctor’s office. “Mom, can we go get something to eat, I don’t feel that good”. Bella mom takes her down the road. She orders a McDouble with ketchup only and a small fry from McDonalds. She so nervous she doesn’t even eat her food. She just wanted to spare some time while she still though about her plan. They pull back into the doctor’s office, she looks around and it looks like a prison. Barb wire fences around the whole building. Guards standing at the entrance with very big guns in their hand, waiting for you to tell them your name so they can check you in. You can’t go in the building until your name is called. This is a very high security doctor’s office. Does not help her calm down.
“Bella” The security guard shouts her name in a deep, monotone voice. She looks at her mom and stands up. Her mom can’t go with her in the office, she has to stay out side and wait. Bella stands up from off the ground and walks to the door. “I am Bella” “come with me” the guard says. He enters in a code to open up the door. Everything is in slow motion for her. She imagines the door to be hard to open and that smoke was going to pour out like she saw in a movie one time. The door opens actually very easily and she comes back from zoning out. When she steps in the hall way she looks around, she seeing pictures all over the wall from kids that were there before her and she also sees a hall way full of doors. The guard walks her down to room number 7, Bella looks at the door and sees the number and thinks to herself, that’s my lucky number. “You can stay in here till the doctor comes in” says the guard and he walks away. Bella start to wonder around the room, she is still thinking about how she can get out of the shot. She comes across a cabinet that has a bunch of sterile water in it and starts to think, if she can distract the doctor she could switch out needles. She begins to get excited. She fills up a needle and sits on it. ‘Knock, knock’ “Good afternoon, how are you today….lets see here, Bella” She doesn’t respond. The doctor walks right over to her with the needle, asks for Bella arm. She goes to give her the shot and a nurse walked in and asked the doctor if she could get some help down the hall way. The doctor excuses herself and put down the needle and followed the nurse out of the room. Bella hurried and switched the needles. Her heart was beating, she hoped this would work. The doctor walks back in and says “now where was I”
