The day came when Simmy disappeared.
Annabelle came home and he wasn't there...only she knew his abscence because only she knew his prescence,
imaginary friends aren't seen by everyone you know.

She called.
She searched.
She asked..but
her dear friend was gone,
and time with him.
Running frantically to Lizzie, her little friend next door, Shouting,'' Lizzie, lizzie, i can't find Simmy!! Have you seen him?''

Lizzie opened her mouth in surprise, but closed it with eyes full of knowingness.
Annabelle noticed.and stopped.
Her eyes now filled with the same knowingness mixed with sadness.
'' my mama told me it would happen one day..that Simmy would disappear...she called it...um..what was the word?..''

''I think they call it ..Growing?'' Lizzie replied.
And they stood there, knowing their waking world was changing.

So very true. Growing is indeed the most beautiful yet painful transformation. But I truly believe that within everyone of us, no matter how old we get, there's still that innocence and pure soul deep inside lightening up our way, whenever we feel lost. Your article is just so simple yet very deep and meaningful. I love it ^_^ keep it up dear. 5/5 stars :D Thanks a lot for sharing this and reminding us what it feels like to be a child again ^_^

This is really good! I still have my imaginary friend from when I was 6 lol I don't think I'll ever grow up. I really like this a lot, how the little girls figure out what's happening, but they do it together. Keep writing!
