Love or Hate; Pick Your Poison

It happened on a riverbank. I was standing there, he across from me and emotions running parallel faster than the river beside us. I needed to close my eyes, grit my teeth and get it over with, but that impenetrable black was crashing through my mind, destroying any carefully laid plans I had constructed before this moment. He’s waiting, and so was my conscience and I know it sounds cheesy but—fate. Say it. Girl, SAY IT. NOW.
