Forever

I am sorry, he said, but I don’t believe in forever. Look around, has anything been here forever? And especially feelings, and people, they don’t last, they change, and I won’t promise you forever. But I will promise you right now, here. Because, that’s all I’m sure of right now. If you have enough hope in now, that it means something, maybe more than something, then maybe tomorrow will be like today. But better, because it’s another day with you. I don’t know how I will feel about you then but right now, all I know is that I love you.
