A Failed Project
He looked upon his creation and sighed. It had been a wonderful little project, everything in it moving and working in harmony. But to look at it now, one wouldn’t be able to tell. It was ravaged beyond repair. He unplugged it and sighed.
At first, astronomers thought it was just a phenomenon, stars blinking out. But then they noticed stars disappearing that were closer and closer to Earth. They screamed into the void in their last moments.
“Well, time to start over” he said as the last light blinked out. He pulled out his tools and began to craft a new universe. “Maybe it’ll go better this time”.

This is my first attempt at Flash Fiction and thought it came out pretty well.
