Unloved
Hitting hard
 Falling softly
 Feeling so low
 Under people so lofty

 Fighting never hurt
 Until I was the victim
 Avoiding society
 Refusing to face them

 Tears had never stung before
 Blood had never spilled
 I was losing myself
 My spirit had been killed

 Surrounded by leering faces
 Cornered by hateful shoves
 What had I ever done
 To be denied their love?
