Ccd MAG
I'm a junior who is trying to immerse the children in my community in their religion. After school I donate my time to teach fifth graders in a CCD course. I, along with the other teachers, volunteer time to teach public school children about their religion. We try to render our knowledge of the Catholic faith to them in hope that they will use it as a guideline in their everyday lives. Our goal is to make the children develop a love for God and go out into the world to act as Christian people. Many might say that we are wasting our time, but the arrogance of those people helps no one. We are trying to make a difference in our community, so life can be easier and safer for everyone. It may sometimes be a nettlesome task, but in the end the feeling of accomplishment is worth all the strife in the world.
