Save Yourself MAG
While industries rise,
a forest dies.
As CFC's are scattered,
our delicate ozone is shattered.
What has this world come to?
How can we see our futures through?
Why are we cheating ourselves this way?
Why aren't we helping our world today?
The forests are deteriorating at light speed it seems,
and don't forget our polluted oceans and streams.
We can't say "Forget it," "Why me?" or "Who cares?"
Our dying planet needs more than just stares.
Buildings and houses where forests used to stand.
Together we can change it if we all lend a hand.
Brothers and sisters together as one,
if we fight for our lives, we'll get it done.
Save the oceans, the trees, the sky and the birds.
If you really care, you'll consider my words.
Don't take this poem and stick it on a shelf,
Read it carefully if you want to save yourself.
