The writing titled "Parents Need to Take Their Teens Mental Health Seriously," written by Clarence S., talks about how one in five teens suffer from a mental illness. His writing left me very interested and absorbed. I agree with the author and believe that it is necessary to bring this to attention. recently, in the past few years especially, mental illness has become more afflicting to the world. Everyone in life either experiences or conflicts with mental health issues. The author says, "Many of these teens feel like their voices won't be heard if they tell their parents what they are experiencing." I believe parents need to take precautions and help their children to develop more comfort. Clarence S. also states, "Parents need to take their children seriously." This statement is very true because a lot of teens probably do not get enough attention from their parents. Parents should watch out for their child's mental state more carefully.
