Curly Hair
I can relate to “Curly Hair” by Chelsea. This is a great poem and is very true if you have curly hair. My hair is very curly and different- it’s never the same. The way the author relates it to her life, how it’s not boring, not straight, confusing and temperamental and is unique. I would have never thought to compare curly hair to life. In the line ”and definitely NOT simple” when she says that her hair isn’t simple, she’s relating it to her life. I really like the way the author relates it to her life. I think it’s really cool how it all makes sense and comes together.
