I am writing about an eye opening non-fiction story written by “Paige D” the story is called” A cornfield misadventure”, and was featured in the October issue. It tells about 2 girls visiting there grandmother’s farm. They were charged with the task of delivering, and so had to drive. The main character is given the challenge to speed, and does so leading to a crash. They are both okay it could have been a lot worse.
Like our main character I have heard many stories of crashes and gruesome death caused by cars, but never really got a grasp on how serious it is. In the story however you get to see the main character in a crash. It is a person though not a number. So when she does crash you get to experience how scary it is. It is like crashing for yourself
