Welcome to the Real World
Our generation is so confusing. The suicide rate is growing because we’ve become so mean. We are telling people they don't matter,-and that they are a mistake. Why is it so much better to make people feel lesser of themselves? Is it that much better to feel on top of someone? Nobody will ever be perfect no matter how amazing they think they are.
Every generation is another evolution of the human race. Every person acts different then the generation before them. Is it because we’re teenagers or is it because we've grown up in a war torn world? We hear "when I was growing up there were never terrorists attacks.'' Is it the world that influences the hatred? Is it that we don't know how to be nice to people? The real answer will never be discovered because there isn't a real answer. All we can say is we don't know. Our generation is supposed to be the generation of technology but it’s turning into the generation of human extinction. We don't know how to let out our feelings without violence and tearing people apart.
When our generation asks what is the issues in our world they are going to overlook themselves because everyone thinks they are perfect, and that everything they do is right. When we grow up and it’s our turn to take a swing at the real world we better be prepared for what comes our way.
Every sentence, every word, every goddamn letter can knock the wind right out of your sails. Make your ship stop moving, make you stop your voyage in life.
Why are people so sensitive? Ask yourself that question… Us kids have become shattered buildings with every shitty thing that happens to them. How can we move on… we have only lived 14 years we don’t know how to cope with things. We have things hitting us at every angle, school, family, friends, our own lives. It will never get easier. We’ve all got a story, a movie but we can’t find an audience. Someone who can listen to us. People hold their feelings in and normally after so long they explode. Everyone has a different look on it, but it’s because of what we’ve become.
Every human has a heart, every human has feelings, everyone has good and bad days. It's called living life. Everyone will make choices in their life people don't like. But why do they break you for your life choices? It may affect people in a negative way but why do they never let you forget it? It’s in your life not theirs.
Parents will think they understand what it's like because they were a teenager. But no, it's different in a billion ways. Just like I said before, our generation has evolved. Every hour to every day to every week to month there are micro changes that grow into huge changes that are noticeable to certain people. There is so much pressure on all of us... to fit in and to be the "perfect person" for their friends. People can't be who they want to be because of all the pressure to be "perfect".
Pretty soon our world will turn into a real life Battle Royale. It won't be a war torn country in the middle east--it will be our whole entire world because of the violence. People won’t ever realize that. Every shooting, and ever murder is an act of hatred. Yes there was all this in the past but look within the past 4 years… The Las Vegas shooting, the Pulse Nightclub and the church shooting in Texas, all acts of Hatred…violence...death. All of those mass murders lead to 1 source: humans and their words and actions.
How do people never get it? Their words are what causes the action of the finger to the trigger of a gun. Will it ever end?
Thank you
