Burnt The Food And Almost The House
One day my mom was going to the store and said to me “make sure you watch the food while I go out to the store.” I said “okay” I was home alone and got up to go check on the food. I went to the kitchen and after two minutes, I felt very tired so I thought to myself “I’ll come back to check on the food in three minutes.
I went to my room to lay down but I fell asleep. Out of nowhere my mom yelled out loud “Why didn’t you watch the food!”
“What happened?” I asked. My mom yelled at me, I was scared and stayed quiet because I knew I was gonna get in trouble.
We opened all the doors and windows but there was too much smoke in the house. The smoke was really bad, and we couldn't do anything. We went outside and after thirty minutes, the smell was still there but the smoke kind of cooled down so we went back inside the house.
After the smoke cooled down, I went to throw the burnt food and all the trash away, “Hey, is everything okay in there?” My neighbor asked. I replied “Yes everything is okay thanks for asking.”
I came inside and said “Mom I’m sorry I was very tired and forgot about the food.” My mom replied “It’s okay, just don't do that ever again.”
I said to myself “I would never do that again.” I learned my lesson and learned to always watch the food until it’s ready.

I learnred not to do that again and what inspired me is myself. I learned to be a older guy now and change from the past.
