The part that's left unsaid is the part that hurts the most. You lay down at night with a hole inside of you that you don’t know how to fill. The things that you love slowly become the things that you hate and you start to feel alone. Time goes by slowly, the slower it goes by the longer you’re stuck with this empty feeling. Each day passes with fake smiles, laughter and sometimes it's hard to hide the deep aching pain of feeling sad. The stress and anxiety of your grade dropping scares you but at the same time you don’t care enough to try. Seeing everyone around you filled with joy makes you feel even worse; you want to feel that way again but you just can’t.
Everyday is the same routine, until you go to bed and have to do it all over again. Sometimes it feels like a never ending cycle of uncontrollable emotions. At night you close your eyes and a million thoughts fill your head as if life’s not real. During the day it's not any better, you can’t stop apologizing because you constantly feel like everyone hates you. You’ll break down, you’ll cry, you’ll be hurt, but at the end of the day there’s nothing left to fight for. Crying until you reach the point where your head is throbbing and your eyes are swollen shut. All the ‘what if’s’ in the world and the thought that tomorrow might be your last day on earth. You close your eyes. One last thought. One last breath. One last worry. One last goodbye. Life just seems- better.
