I am a Nurse
As I sit and wait the anticipation of hearing my name is killing me. I know that I can do it. I was born to take care of people, from newborn babies to the elderly. I have practiced different skills over and over. I have taken all of my test and passed my classes. I understand each patient’s needs and wants. This gives them reassurance and lets them know that they are receiving the best care possible. I take pride in my work and do it correctly.
As I look around and see all the others patiently waiting. They have already received their certificate. When I heard my professor call my name I stand and they all begin to clap. I am handed my certificate and my nursing pin. I fell a sense of accomplishment. I now know that I am a nurse.
