Snap Shot Poem
My dog Susie is no ordinary dog…
She loves to run away and she’s fast and furious.
I am helping my mom bring in the groceries from the car,
we are going in and out of the house. The door opens and closes,
Susie is standing watching, and I’m watching her, I know what she’s thinking…
”I’m going to make a run for freedom!”
My mom is asking for my help,
and I turn around, just for a second.
I turn back and I see my clever dog did it again!
She’s out the door, I drop everything and chase after her…
