Beauty, by definition, "is a combination of qualities that give pleasure to the sight, or the senses, or to the mind." Beauty is also described as being in the eyes of the beholder. In other words, what one person may describe as beautiful may not be so for another individual.

When I think of beauty, I think of my baby sister Sara. She has many beautiful characteristics, and I find her very appealing. She has been in our family for only five months, since she was adopted. For me, however, it seems as though Sara has been in our family for a long, long time.

Sara's dark eyes stare at me when I look at her. I find them very beautiful. Her teeth are sparkling white, like pearls, and

perfectly shaped. Her personality brings out the many qualities that she was born with. She is sweet, loving and unpredictable. Her skin is smooth and clear and she loves to hug me. Sara is very smart and good natured. We get along, and I feel satisfaction and joy when I'm with her. I never find Sara boring. She is funny, energetic and a dream come true for my family.

Sara has brought my family and me closer together, and we are very grateful to have her. I never would have thought that such a tiny two-year-old could be so beautiful and make me feel so happy I am with her. n
