Unity MAG
Standing just below the ledge,
I bitterly look up.
There they are, happy amongst themselves.
Scorning us.
Do we do the same thing?
I wouldn't know.
For I stand here in anguish
between the two.
How can I get along with them?
Laugh and joke with them
when We are Blamed by Them
and Them We Blame.
Why must we stand so far apart?
Why the overpowering moat
separating the two worlds?
Why those jokes
values
hypocrisy
discrimination
segregation. Why?
I try to hold on
but I find nothing stable to grasp.
Can equality
True equality
be only a quixotic vision?
