Lost Honor
They were boys when they went to war
And when they came back, they weren’t men
But monsters
Vietnam.
Ruined the lives of many.
The funny thing is, there was no right side.
We sent innocent kids to die for nothing.
What little honor they had left, stripped away
Painfully like a bandaid ripping away your skin.

This is based on the Vietnam war. Although I was never there, I do think we should be more aware of how unjust America treated them for war that they had no choice to be in.
