White and Black
Black and white, white and black
That’s what most people prefer to see
when they look at the world. They see
what they want to see and forget the rest.
The simpler their life is the better. Black
and white is what they see.
They fail to realize that there is more than
just black and white. More to life that needs
to not be forgotten. Maybe if the black and white
was forgotten the world would be a better place.
For the most part black and white doesn’t exist
in my world. My world consists of colors, and memories.
Both of which will never be forgotten. The people that
matter the most to me will stand out from the black and white.
The people that make a difference don’t blend into the black and white.
That fight for what’s right and stand up for those who can’t.
That don’t accept defeat, people that have changed my life.
The teachers at Tri-Valley and my home are the ones who are
better than black and white.
If there were more people like these people in my life right maybe the world
would be able escape from the black and white. If there were more people like
them it would be better than it is now. They are the last of a dying breed. They
are the people that have changed my life and one day I hope to be like them
and stand out from the black and white like they have.
I wrote this for all that have helped and changed my life. Whether that be in school, writing,
or learning life lessons. For those that have told me to follow my heart and be all that I can be.
I thank for everything. And I hope one day I can find away to show how much I appreciate all
all your help.
For: my beloved grandpa that will always have a place in my heart, all the teachers at my home away from home (school) and my parents that have weathered the storm with me through the years
