Combat Boots
Heroes: Who Are Yours???
The dictionary says heroes are people who, in the opinion of others, have heroic qualities. Some people say their heroes are the actors of that very show, or the creators of the one comedy they can't live without. Others say that they're heroes are the cartoon characters that grace their television sets every Sunday morning. Then there are those who say their heroes watch over them daily from above, and forgive them all their sins. Yes, I cannot disagree with any of these. I love and admire the heroes who act, produce, save, and forgive. But...
My heroes wear combat boots.
My heroes will stand up for my rights.
My heroes will fight for me, and save me.
My heroes wear combat boots.
My heroes patrol the foreign lands.
My heroes keep evil at bay.
My heroes wear combat boots.
My heroes will give themselves so I can live free.
My heroes give their lives for my freedom.
My heroes wear combat boots.
My heroes fight wherever, whenever they are needed.
My heroes serve in land, sea, and air.
My heroes wear combat boots.
My heroes are the army, the National Guard, the army reserve.
My heroes are the navy, the pilots who fly into danger.
MY HEROES WEAR...
MY HEROES WEAR...
MY HEROES WEAR COMBAT BOOTS.
