My best friend, my hero
What does the word hero bring to mind? Superman, a firefighter, your teacher? For me it's my best friend Lindsay How would you descibe one? I think of words like selfless, caring, virtually indescribeble. Lindsay is all of these things.
When my boyfriend of six months broke up with me, she satyed up all night on the phone to hear my cry. When I hit the winning run in my softball game, she was there to help me celebrate. When i had a project that i procrastinated until the night before, she spent the entire night helping me write an essay. When I made the team and she didn't, she was there to celebrate with me and promised that I didn't make her feel bad. When I had a bad dream, she came to my house to comfort me.
She has been with me through good times and bad. Through think and through thin.
Lindsay, my best friend, my hero.
