Eyes
Eyes. Eyes are an interesting thing. They allow us to see. They allow us to look upon the world and take in its beauty. They do the same job, yet each eye is different.
My sister’s eyes are curious and intrigued. They want to learn more – to understand. They glisten like ice over a freshly frozen lake. Watching, waiting, and taking in the world.
My friend’s eyes combine two opposites into one whole. The sparkle of freshly fallen flakes of snow. The golden brown as sun beams into them. They are like a splash in a deep, blue lake. They are comforting – listening when you speak.
