I will never forget when my family and I moved around a lot. It wasn’t that easy to move. The places i move was New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Where i lived more was at Brooklyn, New York because my siblings and i were born there. One day my mom talked to us saying that we were gonna move to New Jersey because we can’t find an apartment that can’t aspect 5 kids and she couldn’t afford it since she was a single mom , but we have a  family who lives over there and found an apartment ready for us. I didn’t want to move at all to New Jersey because i didn’t want to leave my friends. I was in 4th grade when my mom told us about that. My mom didn’t want to move but there wasn’t any other options. So we packed and my aunt drove us to Newark , New Jersey.

        Once we got to Newark, New Jersey everything was different. It was different because where i lived there was a lot of gun shots and people fighting outside the streets. Me and my family were really scared. The next day my mom told us that we’re still going to the same school but all the way to New York. I was really happy when my mom said that, but i didn’t like when she said we had to wake up at 5 in the morning so we can take the train to New York. Monday came we had school and we had to take the train, when we were on the train i saw my mom really tired, i really felt bad for my mom she barely had any sleep. She went back to Newark and looked for schools so she can register us so we won’t have to keep going all the way to New York , she was wasting a lot of money. I really didn’t want to go to a new school because i don’t know no one there. Then a couple weeks we started to go to a new school. When i was in the new school, i was shy to talk to the teachers and my classmates. But then months past i had friends and i wasn’t shy anymore. We lived there like 3 years. But When i was in 6th grade my mom talked to us saying that we’re gonna move to Pennsylvania next month because she really didn’t like it where we were living at and because it was a dangerous place.

       When we got to Allentown, Pennsylvania i was so happy to see my Aunt and my Uncle and my cousins because i haven’t seen them in the longest. My Aunts and my cousins lived 3 houses away from my house. Where we lived it was quiet and calm. I really liked it over here. Then 1 week past my mom had to find a school for us to register. Then we started school on Monday. But i liked that school because they gave good lunches and they had a lot of snacks machines. Everyday i had to ride the bike to school and back home. Then summer came, we went a lot of fun places that my Aunt and Uncle took us. But every Sundays we always go out and eat and i like it because we’re spending time with family. We were living there like 1 year or something. My mom started to say we’re gonna move back to Newark, New Jersey because she couldn’t find a job that couldn’t pay her well and she couldn’t pay the rent. When my mom said that i was like “are u serious, we have to move again.” I really didn’t want to move because i like it over here, but i couldn’t do anything because that was my mom decision. We had to move the first month.

        When we got to Newark, New Jersey again, this time where we lived it was quiet and calm. My mom was finding a school for me and my siblings again. When school started i was in 7th grade. Then a couple of weeks i made new friends again. Everything was good. My mom found a job that payed her well. Then i was in 8th grade. In 8th grade i played Basketball season because my friend wanted me to join, so i did. It was fun and i learned how to play when we had games to verse other schools. When i learned how to dribble the ball and throw, my couch said i had skills and that i learned fast. But some games we won and some we lost. Then months past, i graduated. I went to Eastside high school. But all my friends went to a different high schools. When i went to high school a couple of days i met new friends in that school. I wanted to join soccer but i couldn’t because i had to help my mom taking care my little brother. Then Sophomore and Junior year i met more and more friends. It’s cool having a lot of friends. When i was in Junior year my mom talked to me and my siblings that we’re gonna move to Delaware because we couldn’t find an apartment. I really really didn’t want to move because i didn’t want to leave my friends and the school because i wanted to graduate with them. I was really sad when my mom said that. We lived there like 5 years.

          When we got to Delaware, it looked like Pennsylvania. But it looked different because it had a lot of highways and you need a car to live here. I like the house where we lived, because it was quiet and calm. We finally got a car. My sister and i learned how to drive. In the summer we went a lot of places, we were getting to know the city. Then when summer was over  my mom was looking into schools. I started school on september 23. The school was different because they didn’t have security guards to check the students book bag. But this school we can bring sodas and juice, in my old school we couldn’t because some students be putting alcohol in the soda bottles. The other day i asked my mom “are we gonna stay here or we’re gonna move again?’ and she said “no this is where we finally stay” i was like thank god, because moving a lot is so stressful. My siblings and I have been in a lot of schools. Now everything is going great so far , my mom found a job my siblings are actually happy and I.
