Class Fight
The bell rang, class had just finished, and I still hadn’t fully woken up yet. The halls were filled with noises and people running around, excited to go to break and no matter the amount of noise, my eyes still couldn’t keep themselves open. As I made my way down to the school yard, I bumped into some 6th graders who I had never seen before. There were about 2-3 of them hovering above me all snickering as I just looked at them mad and confused as to who they were. They were twice my size, but they were very ugly I must admit.
“Hey there kid hahahha.” One of the guys said as they pushed me over, it was not hard enough for me to fall. I chose not to speak to them and just tried to continue my day, but it was hopeless; they were following me everywhere I went until I gave a response.
“Why are you ignoring us? I know you can hear us speak to you loser.” The girl who was with them said.
“I don’t feel obligated to answer you so piss off and let me have my break,” I said in a low tone. It was hopeless. No matter what I did to avoid them, they would all just follow me around like dogs on a leash.
I got to the school yard and bought two bags of chips, one for me and one for my friend. As I was walking over to my friend to have a peaceful break, someone blocked my way and refused to let me go. As I look up, I realize it was the same girl that had called me a loser. She started yelling at me because I chose to avoid her and the two guys with her. I decided I was just about done with her behavior, so I punched her stomach. She almost fell back in agony and after regaining her balance she stopped for a second, mumbled something, and sprinted towards me to hit me back but I had the advantage of being shorter than her. I tripped her over, pinned her to the ground, and just took my anger out on her as if she was a punching bag. There was a whole crowd formed around us as people were watching in shock.
After about 5 minutes, I heard the bell and teachers yelling that the next class was about to start. I got off her, got my chips, and I looked back and she wasn't getting up nor waking up at any moment. As I turned around to make my way to class, I heard the girl get up confused as to why the yard was empty.
“Everyone got to class already if you are wondering,” I said as she was trying to get up
“Ok but I never asked. I was going to skip class anyways,” She responded in an annoyed tone
“Wow you hit your head hard, didn’t you? I couldn’t care less if you are skipping class or not, I was just trying to help,” I mumbled as I turned around and started making my way back to class.
As I was making my way back to class, I was doubting if I should have snitched on her for skipping class, but I wouldn’t gain anything out of it. At the end of the day, I just gained a good fight and a scolding from the teachers for being a minute late, most definitely not worth the waste of energy.
