If something bad were to happen I’d immediately look to see if my backpack was ok because if there was one thing that I could save from my house it would no doubt be my computer from my backpack.  I know it sounds like I’m terrible if I were to do that because I’m not saving the sentimentally valued items in my house.  With my computer, I have everyone’s number I have all my photos, and my credit and debit card information saved as well.

Although there are so many other things to save it is one of the most important because everything on my phone is on my computer too and the things that I hold closest to my heart are in there.  By the things that are closest to my heart I mean my family, friends, coaches, and teammates.  Having the ability to communicate with them means more than anything because those are the people who keep me grounded and down to earth.

Yes, the sentimentally valued items sure mean a lot to me but those are things that can be held in memory.  Being able to quickly send a text to a loved one means more than a painting or a picture could ever.  It’s just a text but you can hold onto it and know that it’s you guys talking and you don’t have to go forever without being able to talk to them.  You don’t always get to see friends that live far away, you don’t always get to see your grandparents, and someday you won’t always get to see your parents and siblings.

There are downsides to taking certain things just because there will always be regret deep down in your heart because you didn’t take something that meant the world to you.  People will say “

“Why didn’t you take a certain item you can always replace your computer because it’s all stored up in the cloud and can easily recovered.”

That’s where I say, “What if it doesn’t all save?  What if I lose everything, my photos, family and friends' numbers, my apps, my music, and my notes?  Those are the things that mean the most to me.  Yes, I will the other things that are in my house but I know that they will all be remembered in my memory or I will have pictures of them.”  That’s why I would choose my computer if I was able to save one thing.
