Off the Phone!
One day, I dropped my phone on the ground while playing a game in the bathroom. I thought that it was just a casual hit on my phone, but no. I tried to open it, but nothing happened. So, I realized that I would be phoneless until I got a new one. It was especially tough since my screen time was off the charts. Being addicted to my phone and not having it anymore really hurt me and it showed how much I really go on it. However, my mom said that one phone was available at Verizon. We got in the car, went through the traffic, and had to run our way through the mall before anyone got it. However, my mom didn’t want to buy it because it was too expensive. But, I told her that I’ll learn how to be safer with my phone as well as not go on it as much anymore. So, she bought it before the person who just entered asked if they had a copy of the phone, and that’s how I became more careful with my phone. Plus, that day of having my phone away was my first step in going on my phone less.
