Life is beautiful!!!!
Today, I want to tell you the story of a girl who was always complaining about her life. She often wondered why bad things always happened to her. She felt that her life was the worst, and everyone else seemed to be happy while she was left behind. But let's see what happens in her life that changes her perspective forever. One day, this girl, who was always dissatisfied with her life, meets a little boy, no more than 8 or 9 years old. The boy approaches her with a smile on his face and says, "Didi, will you buy a balloon?" He has a small hope in his heart, and with a smile, he approaches the girl, who had no hope left in her life. Looking at him, she replies, "i will buy the balloon, but i have some questions. Will you answer them?"
"Of course, didi," the boy says.
She asks him, "Who do you live with?"
He replies, "I live with my two little brothers and one younger sister."
Then the girl asks, "Where are your mom and dad? Why aren’t they with you?"
The boy answers, "They passed away and went to God when I was very small."
The girl asks, "What do you do every day? How do you manage your studies?"
He responds, "Didi, I work from 7 AM to 10 PM every day. I can’t go to school. What can I do? We only have two options: either I study on my own or I teach my brothers and sisters. I can’t afford education, but I can teach them. I want them to be happy and educated. Education is everything in life, and it can bring happiness through hard work."
The girl is taken aback and asks, "How do you stay so happy with all these challenges in your life?"
The boy smiles and says, "Everyone has problems in life. Everyone is missing something. If I stay sad, it won’t help me or anyone. If I’m sad, my problems won’t get any smaller. But by smiling, I can at least make others happy. Everyone has their own struggles. If I go to someone with my problems, who will listen? So I smile instead."
The girl says, "You're so small, but you speak so wisely."
The boy responds, "Didi, hardships teach everyone a lot. Poverty is a tough thing. Some days we have food, and some days we don’t. Some days I don’t sell a single balloon. Sometimes people buy with love, but other times, they scold and chase me away. What can we do? I don’t have parents to care for me. My brothers and sisters are my only support. I wish I could play, study, and dream big. But I’m thankful to God that at least I’m healthy, I can work, I’m not suffering from a big illness, and I can walk. This is life. We have to live it, and it’s up to us whether we live it happily or sadly. Time is passing. If today is bad, tomorrow could be better. We must not lose hope because, as someone said, 'This time will pass, whether it's good or bad.'"
Listening to this boy, the girl realise that despite having nothing, he is so happy. Meanwhile, she, who has everything, is still unhappy and has so many complaints about her life. She realizes that life, even with its problems and difficulties, can still be beautiful. As someone wisely said, "Life is beautiful."
Life comes only once, so live it in such a way that there are no regrets. Live the life you want to, and try to make yourself happy. After all, how long can we keep trying to make others happy? Soon, they will forget us, and we will be forgotten too. It's better to live happily for ourselves than to constantly try to please others.
