All work, no play
I was bummed out. Major. Ticked, upset, you name it. I was missing the first dance of the year because i had to work.
So unfair! i'm sitting here, hot sweaty, waitressing banquets, nad OW i just burned myself on hot water.
"Cheer up" my co-worker anthony says.
"im missing a school dance" i explain, and go back to attempting to grap the silverware out of very hot water.
"sucks to be you." as he splashes water. soon everyone in the kitchen is soaked and laughing. we're a greasy, sweaty, tired mess.
but, we're having fun.
let me repeat that. Having fun at work.
really! and we were slipping because the floor is soaked. we're grabbing on to counters and each other tryign to stay up, and trying to wipe up the floor at the same time.
maybe work can be play?
