Liking you from a distance
Dear boy who doesn’t know I exist,
You may not even know my name, or even more so my face. You don’t think about me on your way to school, when you are going to sleep, or when you wake up. I may not even be a mere face in the crowded school hallways. You probably have thought of me once and that was for that split millisecond when we bumped into each other last week. But now you are probably sitting there trying to remember who you bumped into last week right? Yeah, I most likely didn’t even come up to remembered faces that you had bumped into. That reality of it all. When you hear a song, you think of other things. When I listen to a certain song I think of you. I know your name, your favorite song, your age, your favorite past time, and your favorite color. I also have a song for you that I listen to when I’m exceptionally down at times, and I just want to get away from reality. I listen to that song because you are such a dream but yet so close to reality that it makes me feel better. Pretty funny how I don’t even know you and yet you make me feel better right? I think of you before I go to bed, when I wake up, and on my way to school. When you see me not even a second thought crosses your mind. When I see you there are just too much thoughts in my mind to focus on one. I am your nothing, you are my everything. So dear boy who doesn’t know I exist. I think I am in love with someone who I don’t even know. The irony of it all.
Sincerely,
A girl that wants you terribly.
