Summer is the best season: it is feeling the sandy beach between one's toes, it is rosy cheeks and sun kissed tans. It is watching the fireworks explode over the water on the 4th of July and the cooling sensation when first diving into the ocean on a hot day. It is the sweet smell of Coppertone, the calming sound of crashing waves, and visions of vibrant bikinis. It is Seaside boardwalk and its salty air and boisterous arcades, all day card tournaments, and infinite boat rides up and down the bay. It is flip-flops and shorts, or sweatshirts in the cool night air. It is drawing your name in the sand with your toes and 5 minute walks each morning to the beach to do so. Summer is everything good to eat; delectably different sundaes each night with fried Oreos, and the smokey flavors from that night's barbecue. It is the last lick of a waffle cone before throwing it away. Summer is spending each hour with family and friends each day, yet still never getting bored of them. Summer is long days followed by even longer nights. Most importantly, summer is bliss. Summer is the carefree feeling that comes with no deadlines or time constraints, but instead endless time. Summer is a time of relaxation and peace, where one simply lives and enjoys life. Summer is limitless possibilities, limitless laughter, limitless happiness; summer is the best season.
