Bruins Report Card MAG
The Boston Bruins entered the 1990-91 season as the best team in the League. I believe Bourque and Neely will lead the Bruins in points with Bourque winning the Best Defenseman Award and MVP. Andy Moog and Reggie Lemelin will shut the door against opponents and will have the best goals against average in the League.
Here is my report card for all the Bruins:
Reggie Lemelin (G) A-
Cam Neely (RW) B
Ken Hodge, Jr. (C) C+
Bobby Carpenter (C, LW) B+
Randy Burridge (LW) C
Wes Walz (C) A-
Bob Sweeney (RW, C) B+
Craig Janney (C) B-
Andy Brickley (LW, C) C+
Glen Wesley (D) A-
Dave Christian IRW) C
Garry Galley (D) A-
Chris Nilan (RW) B
John Carter (LW) A-
Don Sweeney (D) C+
Lyndon Byers (RW) C-
Andy Moog (G A-
Jim Wiemer (D) C-
Vladimir Ruzicka (C) B
Allen Pederson (D) C+
Ray Bourque (D) A-
(G- goalie, C- center, LW- left wing, RW- right wing, D- defense.)
This year, the Bruins will have only one thing in mind: winning the Stanley Cup. I predict the Bruins will play the Los Angeles Kings in the Finals with the Bruins winning, of course, 4 games to 2. n
