Battle Scars
It was the last inning and I was catcher. The batter hit the ball and the other person on base ran to home plate from second. The outfielder got the ball and threw it to second base. Then I stood up and I caught the ball. As I went to tag out the person sliding to home plate, his foot hit my glove and broke my thumb and the ball fell out and he was safe. I was mad but I was more focused on my thumb. The coach then sent a different catcher to take my place so we could finish the game. So I watched them get the last out and we lost.
