Response to "Skiing"
Nordic skiing and alpine skiing are just a few of the many different types of skiing. Cross-country (nordic) skiing is easy to learn and is a great way to stay fit and active. Alpine skiing is faster and more dangerous. It is also referred to as downhill skiing. This type of skiing is much more thrilling than the slower paced cross-country skiing. This skiing needs practice to get good at it. Ski mountains offer ski classes which are very educational in skiing. Ski mountains rank the difficulty with colors from easy to difficult - green, blue, black, and double black. Downhill skiing is also very expensive. A lift ticket can cost anywhere from thirty dollars to one hundred dollars for one day. Renting equipment also cost a good amount of money.
