Summary:

John Lange was your typical New York detective. At least, that's what he's been told. The only thing Lange can remember is getting caught in a near fatal explosion, and now his ex-wife's employers, an organization known only as Project NOVA, have become his only lifeline. No one's willing to tell the whole truth, and no one can be trusted. NOVA's own operatives have been disappearing, and someone on the outside has been watching Lange for a long, long time.

But before Lange can investigate the secretive Project NOVA, he's going to have to learn the truth about himself. And the secrets John Lange's own mind hides may yet make this case his last!

haha I only noticed because I know what it stands for (guess that's what you get with a little brother always playing war).  I'm glad this isn't the end, because when I finished, I was frankly a little depressed.  I want to know the answers so bad! Duty is on the mainsite.  There are two versions, but I'd love it if you could read the revised version. :) There are only two chapters revised so far, so it shouldn't take to long. :D

Good catch on the AWOL/A-Wall bit, that's what I get for not doing my research!

It's definitely not the end, nor is it even close! The final draft is shaping up to be around 130,000 words and formatted into thirteen longer chapters.

 

Where is Duty: To Heart located? I know you post a lot of your work in the forums, but is this piece posted on the mainsite?

Wow! This blew me away!  I really hope that's not the end - there are still so many mysteries.  This novel really made me think - very cool.  The only error I noticed was you said the agent went "a-wall".  It's actually "AWOL" - Absent WithOut Leave. :) I realize this is picky, but that's because it's the only error. :) Very good job!  Can you check out the revised version of Duty: To Heart?

Excellent novel! You can't leave me hanging like that though, when is the rest of the novel coming out? I could totally see this as a movie or a tv series. Like other people said though I want to hear more about the scenery, then it would be perfect :)
