When the dawn brought VHS I was a Beta
Should have been a guitar, but instead I was a 'fader
Should have been indie, but instead I was a raver
Choices -
like Coke and Pepsi on an unbuilt wall
like Fila and Reebok in an unbuilt mall
they make us gods
our products grow in expression,
with commodities replacing our birthright
justice is secured
in this consumerist light
The world is grand union
and so it will be
deep in the market
is a deeper sense of me
