Why must mankind fight senselessly,

And yet claim we all are brothers?



Why do we create deadly weapons,

And frown on others for the same?



Why is our world being raped and ravaged,

And nobody seems to care?



Why are convicted murderers being released from prison,

For being a certain age?



Why are the servers of justice,

Degrading that justice themselves?



Why do parents who live for their children,

Kill those children in a drunken stupor?



Why do we hope for world peace,

and then incite violence at home?



And why do we corrupt children,

twist their minds,

teach them to hate ...



And then expect them to correct our mistakes?



Why?
