In the World of Black and White
Silence. I look around and see people moving their hands and trying to speak about the party they went to or something else. I turn towards the white walls and the computer and type. I type what I want to tell but cannot express. The sound of typing comforts my ears, reminding me that I still can hear. But,I cannot speak. Ding! A new email pops up into the empty void of black and white. The mass of words and phrases. I read and try not to gasp. I stand up and walk away from the desk towards the mass of words and phrases we have to say.
