I weep
I weep
People’s pain flowing through me
As I watch them struggling, writhing in it
It’s there
I weep
I sense the corruption
In war, government
In school, religion
I weep
It’s getting hard out there
To live, to laugh, to even breathe freely
To talk to your own father, mother
I weep
Because the discrimination
Racism, hatred
The dislike of uniqueness, difference
I weep
It’s on my shoulders
And everyone else’s
I weep for my, yours, and everybody’s future
